Abstract / Paper / Poster Submission Guidelines

The Scientific Committee of RCA invites authors to submit abstracts for consideration within the program either as research papers to be presented, or posters to be exhibited during the exhibition. Please read the abstract requirements carefully prior to submitting your abstracts. Abstracts not fulfilling the requirements will not be considered for review. The following guidelines should be used by authors:

Abstract / Paper /Poster must be written in English, and presented in English at the conference.
Abstract / Paper /Poster must present original work that has not been previously presented at conferences or in journals elsewhere.
Abstract / Paper /Poster should be submitted via the RCA ONLINE SUBMISSION SYSTEM for consideration as a presented paper or a poster.
Abstract / Paper /Poster should have a clear title and include three keywords, and three references.
Abstract should not exceed 300 words.
Authors should include their names, affiliations, contact details.
Authors should clearly indicate the first and second choice of tracks for their respective submissions. See conference TRACKS.
Authors of accepted Abstract / Paper /Poster are requested to present their papers during the conference in one of the track sessions. At least one of the authors should be present at the conference.
After notification of abstract acceptance for presentation in the conference, at least one of the abstract authors should register.
Information on paper presentations or poster exhibition will be given to authors in due course.

Process ob submition Abstracts / Papers and Posters

You can start the process by registering on the webpage rca.uirs.si
You can review and edit your abstract in the abstract fields up until and including 17 March 2025 – the version present on this date at 23:59 CET (Central European Time) will be automatically sent to the reviewers. The reviewers and RCA committees can relocate your abstract to any other Track or into Poster Presentation when they find it appropriate.
The authors will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of the abstracts no later than 24 March 2025 on this page – please follow the status of your abstract in the »Acceptance« field.
If/once your abstract will be accepted you will be invited to submit your paper on this page too - new functionalities will be offered to the authors with the accepted abstracts. The full papers as well as posters will have to be submitted using the template no later than 9 June 2025. The maximum number of pages of the full paper should be 10, including abstract, figures and references. The authors will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of the papers as well as posters no later than 30 June 2025.
Abstracts should be text only, up to 300 words long, and should be written in English into the abstract field. Aside from the abstract, please provide between 3 and 7 key words and fill-in all other fields (Title, Main Track, Alternative Track, Authors and affiliations). Always press button at the end.
Both, abstracts and full papers/posters will be blind peer reviewed by two international scholars.

Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.

The accepted conference papers will be published in the form of the Conference book of contributions.

The authors of the selected papers will be invited to prepare/upgrade papers for the issue of Urbani izziv / Urban Challenge journal or Igra ustvarjalnosti / Creativity Game journal.
